CAMP

Jesse Rappaport is entering his sixth season as Head Coach of the boys basketball team at Harriton high school. The Rams have been in the postseason each of those years, and in 2009 became the first number 12 seed to reach the AAA district final final four. Coach Rappaport played collegiately at Hobart College in Geneva N.Y. and then went on to play two years professionally, in Israel, for Happoel Nahariya.

It was in Israel that Coach Rappaport started the Jesse Rappaport All-Stars, a youth program that involved year round basketball camps and tutoring for the Nahariya area children. After returning to America in 1999, Coach Rappaport started his coaching career, and served as the General manager for the Philadelphia Force of the National rookie league. While there he constructed a team that won two regular season championships. Coach Rappaport has run basketball camps with the Julian Krinsky program from (2002-2006), and has run the Running Rams basketball clinics that last three years at Harriton. Coach Rappaport is currently a Social Studies teacher at Harriton High school, and has been an educator for 13 years.

Mission statement: Our staff at PVJSA-Running Rams basketball, are dedicated to make sure your child has the most worthwhile camp experience. This includes each camper every day; learning a new skill, participating in activities that produce healthy exercise, and most importantly having fun.

Pickup and Drop Offs: Please be sure to drop your camper off at the top area of Harriton High School (by the football Field) where one of our counselors will be there to direct your child to the gym area. The camp begins promptly at 9:00am and ends at 3:00pm each day. We expect that you will drop off your child around 8:45am each morning and pickup your child by 3:10pm at the latest at the end of each camp day.

Lunch:Please pack your camper a paper bag lunch along with a drink to enjoy during lunch time. We will have refrigerators available for our use to keep the lunches and drinks cold.

Along with the drink for lunch please also have your camper bring a water bottle with them which will be used as needed throughout the camp day.
