Jesse Rappaport is entering his fourth season as Head Coach of the boys basketball team at Harriton high school. The Rams have been in the postseason each of those years, and in 2009 became the first number 12 seed to reach the AAA district final final four. Coach Rappaport played collegiately at Hobart College in Geneva N.Y. and then went on to play two years professionally, in Israel, for Happoel Nahariya. It was in Israel that Coach Rappaport started the Jesse Rappaport All-Stars, a youth program that involved year round basketball camps and tutoring for the Nahariya area children. After returning to America in 1999, Coach Rappaport started his coaching career, and served as the General manager for the Philadelphia Force of the National rookie league. While there he constructed a team that won two regular season championships. Coach Rappaport has run basketball camps with the Julian Krinsky program from (2002-2006), and has run the Running Rams basketball clinics that last two years at Harriton. Coach Rappaport is currently a Social Studies teacher at Harriton High school, and has been an educator for 11 years.
